While attending Shoreline Community College to study the craft of making film, a common problem arose: no one wanted to produce. So I decided I would create a web series and produce it allowing others to direct episodes of the project. I would handle the details of securing equipment and locations allowing the directors to focus on the directing. It was with very limited success in that regard. Nailing down directors turned out to be just as difficult as herding cats (or actors) which is why my name appears as a co-director in most of the episodes. But I can’t complain. Vital Force was my baby after all and we eventually shot a full length film. Vital Force also became the back story for a space opera I went on to write years later.
